Work layers for field and jobsite crews
Insulated and canvas vests, like the Ariat Rebar DuraCanvas and Cordura ripstop vests, keep the core warm while leaving the arms free for tools. Carhartt and Ariat hoodies and fleece-lined sweatshirts are the most-worn layer on many jobsites, and DRI Duck's Mountain Fleece pullovers add UPF 50 and anti-pill fabric for crews who wear them daily.
Professional knits and dress vests
Edwards Garment covers the service side: unisex and ladies' cardigans, anti-pill sweaters and vests, microfleece vests, and brocade and dress vests for bartenders, casino and banquet staff. These pair with the shirts and pants in Hospitality & Professional Apparel.
Decorating fleece, knits and canvas
Embroidery is the natural choice for this category. On fleece and sherpa, a topping film keeps stitches from sinking into the pile, so small text stays readable. On sweaters we keep logos light, since a dense design stiffens the knit. Canvas vests and heavy hoodies take larger logos well, including a back logo on hoodies.
Hi-vis vests and sweatshirts are in High-Visibility & Safety; FR hoodies and quarter-zips are in Flame-Resistant Workwear.

Frequently asked questions
Can you embroider on fleece without the logo sinking in?
Yes. We use a topping on high-pile fleece and sherpa so the stitches sit on the surface and fine details stay legible.
Where is the logo placed on a vest?
Left chest is standard. Work vests can also carry a logo across the upper back, which is visible when the vest is worn over a jacket or hoodie.
